This Memorial Arch is a tribute to the World War One servicemen who died while fighting in the war and the returned servicemen who built the Great Ocean Road. Work began in 1918 with thousands of returned servicemen enduring the backbreaking labour to link Lorne to Eastern View.

The Great Ocean Road, built between 1919 and 1932 by returned soldiers from WW1, it is the world's largest was memorial. Running from Torquay to beyond the 12 Apostles, it is well over 200 kilometres in length.It is one of the greatest roads in the world, comparable to the likes of the Big Sur in California and the Grande Corniche in the south of France. This poster aims to capture the sense of freedom and beauty this amazing road offers.
